The recently released XM Cloud base image 1.6.373 includes the following fixes:<ul><li>You can now create a Link List version in Content Editor when the Link List is in a final workflow state and the links themselves don’t have a workflow or state assigned. Previously, this caused an error.</li><li>Serializing images larger than 4MB via the CLI no longer causes them to be partially displayed.</li></ul>

Improvement

The <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://api-docs.sitecore.com/xmc/xm-apps-api">Sites API collection</a> has new endpoints, parameters, and validation to help you to better manage your XM Cloud sites and site collections: <ul><li>New endpoints for validating the names of sites (<code>/api/v1/sites/name/validate</code>) and site collections (<code>/api/v1/collections/name/validate</code>) . These endpoints return either a success message or details of the validation failure. </li><li>New endpoints for changing the sort order of sites (<code>/api/v1/sites/sort</code>) and site collections (<code>/api/v1/collections/sort</code>) in Content Editor, Pages, and API responses. </li><li>A new endpoint that returns a list of the editing hosts you can assign to a site (<code>/api/v1/sites/{siteId}/renderinghosts</code>). </li><li>A new <code>language</code> parameter for the various hierarchy endpoints, allowing you to retrieve the hierarchy of a site for a specific ISO country-region language code. Also, the response for those endpoints now includes a <code>children</code> object. </li><li>A new <code>errorPages</code> object includes the <code>errorPage</code> and <code>notFoundPage</code> properties, which you use to define the error pages of the site when sending a <code>PATCH</code> request to <code>/sites/{siteID}</code> to update a site. </li><li>New validation to ensure that a site collection exists before any attempt to update it by sending a <code>PATCH</code> request to the <code>/api/v1/collections/{collectionId}</code> endpoint. If the specified collection doesn’t exist, the request now returns a 404 response. </li><li>For the sake of consistency, all XM Apps endpoints now use the <code>permissions</code> property to designate access rights. Previously, the <code>access</code> property was used for some endpoints, instead. For backward compatibility, <code>access</code> is still supported, but we recommend only using <code>permissions</code>. </li></ul>

Additions and improvements to the Sites API

New features and improvements in Forms: <ul><li>For the File upload field item, a new configuration option lets you <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/configure-field-items.html#configure-a-file-upload-field">add metadata</a>, such as file name and file type, to the webhook payload. When choosing this option, you’ll need to update your webhook to support the new data structure. </li><li>Forms now lets you add <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/use-the-image-picker.html">webP</a> images to the Media library. </li></ul><ul><li>Layouts and items are now sorted into collections in the left-hand pane. These include the Saved layouts and Saved items you <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/save-an-item-or-layout-for-reuse.html">create yourself</a>. </li></ul><ul><li>You can now add a custom validation message to <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/configure-field-items.html#configure-a-recaptcha-field">reCAPTCHA</a> field items. </li></ul>Resolved issues: <ul><li>The<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/configure-field-items.html"> Hide help text</a> feature now works as expected, even if custom CSS is enabled for the form. </li></ul>

Resolved issues<ul><li>In Sites, the Editing host drop-down list on the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/manage-sites.html#manage-hosts">Site hosts</a> tab now displays the expected values in all circumstances.</li><li><a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/manage-sites.html#manage-general-site-settings">Uploading a site thumbnail</a> now works reliably, even in rare cases where it previously failed. </li><li>On the Sites dashboard, moving the first site in a collection to the last position in that collection now works as expected. </li></ul>
